Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando originated the role of Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World Turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 as well as for a few months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 through the TV series House Blend portraying the role as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV role following three years.
